Etude House Drawing Eyebrow Pencil Review

Hello everyone!

I am finally back with a review from this korean haul in 2013. This time it's the eyebrown pencil from the popular South Korean brand Etude House!

Let's first take some pictures of the product! I think the design is adorable ♥

The colour is brown, so I'm sorry that it looks so dark, almost black, on the pictures! I have trouble taking pictures because as soon as I am home from school it's already dark here in the wintery Scandinavia. So please forgive me that, but it really is brown!

The pencil works kind off like a duo-pencil, the browpencil in one end and a small eyebrow brush in the other. Very perfect, but not very travelsize-friendly.

Close-up for up the pencil. Quite a decent amount of product in it! (Not only what you can see ofcourse)

Close-up of eyebrow brush.

Alright, let's try the product. Sorry for the blurryness of the first picture. My naturel eyebrow is slightly lighter than my haircolour since I trim it, it's a little messy and has no shape. I don't pluck my brows anymore, because I usually conceal the extra hairs or have my eyebrows really thick.

I am a huge fan of thick, straight korean eyebrows it gives me a young and innocent look! But I am also a fan of the arched, sexy look. So I'm gonna challenge the eyebrow pencil to both!

Naturel brow:

So I hope you get the idea even though this picture is blurry. The rest is not, so don't worry. It's light, out of shape, and no way how I like it. I put lots of focus into my brows because they do a lot for a face. Never forget your brows!

Korean-inspired straight eyebrows:

Groomed and coloured in brows. It honestly looks better without the crazy flash, but as there is no sun to see it's just not possible.

Arched brow:

I do this when I want to have a party, mature or sexy look. The straight look belongs to my everyday. I groomed them upwards instead of straight and filled them in more than my naturel brows so they look thicker.

So what do I think?

Effectivity & Colour:

✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✧

It's very resistant and stays all day, but not waterproof. It's gives a lovely colour and can be build up, it can be naturel as well as dramatic. The brush is super great! It's a bit harsh but perfect for grooming your brows in place. Use hairspray or browgel if you want it to stick all day, or spring it in your purse.

Price:

✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦

Super cheap product! But if you use it everyday it's also soon goon, but you can easily afford it, and the quality fits the price (the quality is not super, but it's perfectly average).

Texture:

✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✧

I don't know how to describe this. It's a quite harsh product, yet it's softer than your typical drugstore eyebrow pencil. It's comfortable, and you don't have to drag it against your skin to get the colour from it.

Design/Packeging:

✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦

It's simple, it's duo-function, it's cute just like all Etude House-products! Would love it to have a more travel-friendly size though.

Cons:

I actually had to buy this twice, because it breaks so easily! I may have done something wrong, but each time I managed the break the pencil, it would fall out and be useless. But that's really all I can think of. 5 stars to Etude House!

That's all for this review, thanks for reading!

Am back! + Small update

Hello everyone!

So I finally got my PC back! I should complain for them taking so long. I send my PC in before christmas and got it a few days ago (picked it up yesterday). So long for just replacing a harddisc! Sadly it also means everything on my PC is gone. All 10.000+ pictures, so I'll have to take new. Also all my exam documents, and whatnot. Very annoying indeed, but I cannot do anything about it anyway. I'm just happy to have my own PC back!

It's been quite some time since I've been blogging, so what has been happening meanwhile? Both good and bad I can tell you.
I spend christmas pretty calm, and I won't make a christmas haul as I only got things I need for moving out, like kitchen materials and such stuff. Pretty boring, but I wish to move out as soon as possible.

My boyfriend visited me here from 26th of December and untill 4th of January, and I had a lot of lovely days with him as usual! We spend the New Years at a friends house, in Germany. So different from usual! Since he left I haven't slept much, I've been stressing around, especially with 2 x exams and lots of driving (my driving test is tomorrow. I probably will fail again - sigh). The thing is that I am really running out of luck. I failed school miserable this year, which is my final year and final chance, so my chances of getting a job when I get out are very, very small. Other than that, I am running out of money, all spend on drivers license. Life is no fun for me anymore, and even forcing a smile is getting rough.
Sorry for all these depressing updates, but I prefer that over lying to my followers and readers. I hope I see lighter times soon, and I am getting help so don't worry. I just wanted to update you guys on what's going on currently, and also why I might blog less and with lesser enthausism. It will come back, I promise, I just have some dark times I must get over right now, so bear with me!

Anyways, I hope you all had a great christmas, new year, a nice holiday and a better start on 2014 than I did. Take care of yourself!

I will upload my next post, hopefully a review from my korean haul bag in 2013, that I never finished. It will be up as soon as possible!

Here's just some random holiday-day photos so this post is less boring ~~

Random OOTD from the weeks with my boyfriend.

My makeup and bow-hairstyle on christmas eve!

My beloved teddy that was my christmas-present from my boyfriend. It's more than 50cm big, and it's super huge and fluffy. I spray it with his perfume almost daily, and it's always right beside me when I sleep!

Shopping with my boyfriend in Fördepark, Germany. He bought me the cute pink pants, and I love them!

Thought I'm not really a fan of Starbucks, nor taking pictures of Starbucks, I found the smiley-thing so cute!

One of many stupid, pointless selfies in the car. We went somewhere every single day. Lots of car-driving requieres selfies!

My new years eve-outfit. Kitty shoes, black jeans, a korean clubbing shirt, bow-hairstyle and my korean bag.
Stupid selfie with one of those yummy chinese boxes. Got lots and lots of unhealthy chinese food!

Yummy fried shrimps I shared with boyfie. So yummy with the garlic sauce!

Love. Yay

Nomnom. Foodporn! Gained quite some weight that I am losing here in january. (Already a kg lost so far, so it's all good.)

Ending the post with some love:

Thanks for reading. Bye for now!

非主流FZL ~~~ Feizhuliu post 1/?

Hi guys!

I have before mentioned that I really like "Feizhuliu"style, and there is basically no english information about it on Google, so why not inform those who are interested, right?

Feizhuliu, also called FZL for short is a Chinese streetstyle that is very popular in China and Taiwan. Feizhuliu is Chinese, and it means “non-mainstream” or “anti-mainstream”, however, most of the fashionable woman and men in China follow the FZL style. When you are “a feizhuliu” it means you are a person who is following the style. FZL has been around for a long time, and started of looking similar to the so-called “emo” or “punk” culture in the western world, which consisted of black and ripped clothing, dark messy hair, and a lot of dark eye-makeup for boys as well as girls. By that time, it was not the norm, and it was considered rebellious and different to dress like that. However, as both time and fashion went by, the style had a dramatic change, and one of the people getting it to change was the girl called Komi Xi. She was very famous for her style, but she gradually changed it over the years, to a brighter, lighter and more mature sense of style, and the fashion followed by. FZL now became inspired by happiness, bright clothing, and doll-like features.

This is one post out of many! I will be writing different FZL inspired tutorials, post, and so on later, like how to stay/become slim like them, tutorials on their hair, makeup or FZL fashion advice, so this won't be the last!

Example of old kind of FZL's to the left and the new, modern ones to the right:
I took the ever so famous Huang Yiling as a modern example, and choose my ultimative favorite Cao Li Lukiya as second modern example. I don't know the names of the old ones.

I do not want to focus on the old FZL's, but rather the new. I don't know if I can truely consider myself FZL as well, but I am doing my best!

The thing I like about FZL is everything. Their hair, makeup, clothing style/fashion, their slim figures, and the way they take pictures. Super much love! *_*

I have some favorites of the famous FZL. They mainly famous on the internet, especially on the chinese website www.weibo.com. By the way, if you do have a weibo account please tell me, I will follow you!

Here are my favorites:

曹露Lukiya (Cao Li Lukiya)

MY abosulte #1 favorite. She is beautiful and her style is beyond awesome. I love it! Her face is super adorable, I can't get it over it. Flawless girl ~~

郝静Sevi (Hao Jing Sevi)

Sevi or Sewei is super adorable. Her hair is so pretty, always. She just recently dyed it black, and I love it. However, I miss her almost gyaru-ish imagine from when she was blonde!

张涵棋(Zhang Han-Ki)

She almost has these "bug-eyes" and I love it. Her eyes are HUGE to say the least, and her nose and chin is so super tiny. I'm so inlove with her perfection and style!

Huang Yiling

She's really famous on Weibo. She's a model, and she does it beautifully, however I prefer her personal style and photos more than the overly photoshopped model ones. To each his own ~~

That's it, sorry for the super long post, but I still hope you enjoyed it. Way more pictures, tutorials and information will come! Also, I will be posting my reviews from the korean haul this and next week too! ♥

"FAKE UP!" A how-to bigger breast + cleavage without plastic ~

Hi guys!

I am back with a new post about something that can possible be a little sensitive topic - breasts (that belong to girls).

All girls on earth have them. Some are big, some are small, some are saggy, round, big cleavage, no cleavage, all kinds of colours, shapes and sizes.

And some are FAKE.

Which is not wrong. If you are an A-cup like me, then it's not strange you might want to spice up your pretty christmas dress, have a more woman-like body on the beach, or whatever. All in all, you want bigger breasts but maybe not permanent, or you just can't afford surgery. Either way, here's an almost pain-free (pain is beauty!), super-cheap, not-permanent solution for you!

So, let's FAKE IT UP!

Let's start off with some before photos/preparing.

I will be showing this in a sports-top, since I am - funny enough - not very comfortable showing my actual breasts on the internet. Sorry to blur so much on the pictures, but I haven't cleaned up my room at all this week since I was sick, so it looks like there was a storm in there.

As you can see on the pictures below I have absolutely ZERO cleavage, and very small breasts. And we are gonna change that!
(Sorry about my not so flattering body - we cannot all be models!)

So have to we go from flat, manbody-looking non-excisting breasts to breasts with some volume? With a little magic of course!

I introduce to you: Silicone pads!

I can imagine what is going through your mind right now... So I will answer your questions, girls!

What is that disgusting thing?
- It's a silicone pad. It can be separated in the middle, and one side is sticky (the side you stick to your breasts). It has a transparent colour, but you most likely can get these in black and whites, however, I prefer skin-coloured!

How do I use it?
- No worries my dear, I will show you in a minute!

How long does it stick?
- Pretty long. Do NOT worry about it falling off - it won't. There are small plastic papers that you can put on the sticky sides when they are not in use to make sure they don't "dry" out.

Is it expensive?
- Around 2$. Something most of us can afford!

Where can I get these?
- I bought mine on Ebay, but if you're not comfortable with buying on the internet then go to your local bra- or underwearstore and ask for silicone pads or bra-stuffing.

Is it painful?
- Depending how tight you want your breasts squeezed together (which also depends how big your breasts are), it can hurt slightly, but it's not a pain that continues, you get used to it quickly throughout the day. It's not a pleasing feeling, so it's not an everyday-item, but more to spice up a cute outfit. This is a little awkward, but I am gonna be all honest here: It does hurt a little to take the sticky site off, because *ahem* nipples are sensitive! So be careful hahah ~~

Is it waterproof?
- My answer will be no. However, I am not completely sure, but it tends to "unstick" a little if you sweat a lot (like wearing it under a sport-bra or if it's very hot), so don't go swimming with it! If you decide to wear it under a bikini or bathsuit, make sure to find an excuse for not going in the water!

Can I use this is I have bigger breasts?
- Of course you can! It's also great is you have breasts that may not have as much muscle to hold them up, if they sack down a little (which is normal, don't worry). It does not vice-versa, so if you have DD's, and want smaller breasts perhaps you should find another solution.

Alright so let's get to how you give yourself a fine little cleavage! (If anyone has any more questions, kindly comment underneath the blogpost and I will answer as soon as possible! ♥)

OF COURSE YOU DO THIS DIRECTLY ON YOUR BREASTS, NOT ON THE TOP!

As I said, they can be separated in the middle, which is very easy and simple, and that's the first step.

Now just place it on your outer breast. I place mine so close to my armpit because I need to drag my breasts quite a lot in order to just get a little cleavage. If you are a B or C-up, then you can place it closer to your nipple. Try placing it differently to see what's more comfortable, and what gives more/less cleavage. Of course put them similar on both sides.

They should now be places kinda like this. They look weird, because you can't really stick them on a sportstop, but you get the idea I hope.

Now with both hands you literally squeeze your breasts together (we've all done this move to get cleavage before - now you're just locking in it!). When they reach quickly clip it together and whoops - a nice cleavage!

The next step is to take a bra - a push-up bra. and wear that on top of your silicone-pads. I choose this supercute bra with pink hearts! It's EU size A75.

Here is the result of silicone pads and a push up bra. Amazing isn't it? Now there is only one more step before we can see the amazing boom boom pow effect of faking!!!

Last step - Makeup! Take your bronzer or contouring colour (not too much glitter - if any at all!) and a fluffy powderbrush. I am here using my Nilens Jord brown shadow and an off-brand contouring-brush. Brush from the cleavage and up over the breasts for the last boom.

NOW! Is everyone ready for the result? GOOOOO ~~~~~~

-------------------------

AMAZING! From flat-chest/boy-chest to super womanly curves!

Let's just take a quick before after:

Bigger, rounder and nicer breasts and a beautiful cleavage! Easy and cheap!

That's it for this entry. Enjoy lovlies! ♥
