Aliya Lando Tutorial - My first makeup video

Hi guys.

Due to stress and exams I haven't been very active.
However, two weeks ago I made my first ever makeup-tutorial on Youtube, I hope you all will go watch it!

I'm having some bugs with it, since it won't say exactly how many views I have, and the quality isn't the best since I don't have a proper camera. But I'm improving every time.

On the site-note, DO TURN ON THE SUBTITLES! Otherwise you're just gonna sit there and watch me do my makeup without explanation.
I've added my products used in the description as well.

Also, here's some more photos of Aliya Lando to compare. She is a super-beautiful Mavrin-model, and has the cutest face. She's (as far as I know) russian, but I have no idea about her age.
Here's her VK-profile: http://vk.com/aliya_lando

Isn't she gorgeous? I envy her big brown eyes and tanned skin! And she has a super slim body as well.

If you don't have a VK-profile and want to follow Aliya, don't worry. Her Instagram is linked in her VK profile.

Next tutorials will be (so far):

CHANEL haul feat. Dior

Hi beauties! ♥

I wanted to share a SMALL haul with you guys with Chanel-productes featuing a guest: Dior.

I've never been able to afford expensive brands in anything, from clothing to makeup. My family is in the "middle", causing my parents to always try and save money. I am by no means poor - but I cannot use a whole bunch of money.

I've finally taken enough work, and work hard enough to earn more so that I can spend money on the thing I love the most: Makeup! I loved Chanel for years and admired bags, makeup, clothes, everything, and just now I finally got my hands onto some products!

I purchased a powder, a blush, a Dior eyeshadow palette, off-brand eyebrow pencil (animal printed stick) and an off-brand eyelash curler. The small boxes are testers on the Lancome Hydrazen moisturizer!

The packaging is super simple. Black, white, plain and simple. Elegant but not overwhelming.

Dior palette:

Such beautiful pigmented colours, and oh my gosh.. I love the flower-print, it's absolutely gorgeous!

Chanel powder

I broke my old compact powder, so I needed this one. It mattifies your face and smells so good. You can't tell from the photo but the Chanel-logo was incarved in the powder. The sponge sucks though - such a shame. But with a brush, this is perfect! And it's also huge!

Blush:

This colour is super intens and pigmented. It has a lot of glitter in it though, and will highlight your face a lot. It stays on all day, and the pink is so adorable! And again - the logo and the cute floral pattern. How does one not love that?

Lifting up the blush: a brush and mirror comes out!

Off-brand items:
This heated eyelash curler is new for me, but works wonders. It saves your eyelashes and the same time makes my eyelashes curl even more and even longer! Turn it on with the green button, and a green light starts. The red area on the eyelash curler will slowly fate to white. When it's white it means that you are ready to curl! Takes about 10-15 seconds.

Off-brand eyebrow pencil. Doesn't stay on all day, but is rather pigmented and good for naturel brows. Now I just need to get my brows plucked *sighs*

That's my super quick haul. Stay tuned, more hauls to come!

Doll Makeup - Inspiration from BJD's

Hi guys.

It has been almost two months since I was last active here. I've been busy and stressed out to the max, but holidays are coming closer and giving me some extra time for a little blogging.
I thought I'd never come to do it, but here's the first part of my doll makeup series!!!

Photo I got inspired from:

My try:

As you can tall it's not "exact", but more inspired from the dolly girls.

I felt this was too cute and not dramatic enough, so I tried adding a filter. I'm not sure if it helped any though hahah

I don't have dolly features, I'm aware of that. But being inspired from it was really fun.

Face: Foundation, powder and concealer for a flawless complexion. I contoured my entire face. Nose, chin, cheekbones and forehead. I highlighted my nose, undereye area, chin, small part of forehead. No blush because her dolly face looked out-washed and I couldnt see any blush on my inspiration.

Eyes: I applied shadows in shimmering white, silver and black. I darkened my brows and arched them, and applies falsies halfway to open my small eyes.

Lips: I covered them in concealer and applied my Etude House tint on the middle for an ombre-effect. Then applied a lipliner to match it and fade it out. I liked the lips the most!

My hair was being really bitchy. Wouldn't stay, wouldn't curl, wouldn't work with me. So annoyed!

I tried focusing on eyelashes, brows and mouth because I found those to be her most important features.

Products used:
Max Factor Whipped Cream foundation Light Ivory 40 (foundation)
Chanel Double Perfection Compact 03(powder)
Nilens Jord Duo Concealer (concealer and highlighter)
Nilens Jord Eyeshadow 626 (ccontouring and brows)
Christian Dior 5-colour eyeshadow, white colour (highlight and eyeshadow)
Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Eyes, white colour (eyeshadow)
Coastel Scents 88 Palette, silver and black colour (eyeshadow)
Rimmel Waterproof Gel Eyeliner (eyeliner)
Dollywink Mascara long (mascara)
Taiwanese Lashes (fake eyelashes)
Etude House Rosy Tint Lips (lipstick)
Maybelline Colorsensational 440 Coral (lipliner)

I hope you enjoyed this look. More post are to come, I'm working hard on getting them published as soon as possible! ♥

BJD Doll Makeup ~ Doll inspiration

Hi guys!

I've been going through pages of Tumblr searching for these cute things called Ball Jointed Dolls, short BJD. Basically a type of supercute yet almost frightening collection dolls. I'm not sure about the concept, I have no idea about what their point is, but their face and makeup is utterly adorable! (And their hair is gorgeous, and their fashion sence better than mine!)

Click photos to enlarge.

You can get God knows how many different kind of dolls, but I found a few who has makeup that I really like and I wanted to try my best to copy their perfect facial structures and cutsy makeup.

I'm just gonna show you the ones I find that I like the most. I hope to recreate all their looks!
None of doll-photos are mine, credits to their rightful owners!

Really cool and actually rather realistic-looking (compared to the rest). I really like this one doll! She looks ready to kick ass.

She's dreamy and a little scary, but her pinky-black makeup looks really awesome. Almost like a magical creature.

I like how you can see the makeup so clearly. Orange-tinted lips and cheeks, light straight brows and grey shadows on the lid. It's a really cute simple makeup. And her lids are huge in the most beautiful way!

This look looks challenging, and I really want to see if I can make it! It's colourful too!

[enhanced his faceup a little]
I'm really unsure about this look, as it'll take lots of time and lots of makeup. If I have all the necessary items and the time this one will be the funniest!

That's all I have in mind right now, if I find something more interesting I'll add it for sure!

Please stay tuned for upcoming makeup tutorials. You're probably also tired of review by now anyway, haha~

Bye bye ♥

[Review] Holika Holika Baby Silky Foot-Mask

WARNING! REALLY GROSS PICTURES OF MY FEET, BE AWARE!

Hi guys!

I'm here with a review and honestly, kind of an experiment for me. A fun one!

Some time ago I bought the Holika Holika Baby Silky Foot One Shot Peeling. That has got to be the longest product-name EVER.

Basically this is a mask, just like those for your face. But these are for the feet!

I bought two, and together with them came a cute little sample, and I have no idea what it is since I obviously can't read korean - but I can still love the wonderful effects of korean products!

In each package comes these cute little "feet" with liquid inside and of course the masks to put on your feet.

So what now?:
- Start out by putting on the foot-mask
- Pour liquid into foot-masks (one for right, one for left).
- Wait 1.5 hours
- Remove and dispose masks.
- Massage feet to let left-over liquid soak in

Let's first take a before picture:

I'm a runner and it's no secret that runners have the ugliest feet. You can see they are very dry, but not cracked. And miscoloured/harmed too. My poor feet! TT^TT

Time to do something about it!

Let's see how silly we look now. (Oh my gosh, my paleness is awful T^T)

It's best to sit with your PC or watch TV cause it's a rather long time and with these things it's hard to move.

Now: here's the magic. There's absolutely NO RESULT after use.

Whaaaat? Then why purchase?

Because, AFTER FOUR DAYS YOUR FEET WILL PEEL BY ITSELF!

When I reached day 3 I thought to myself: This is so stupid, they look the same, bad purchase.
Then day 4 I had to swallow my words. It was peeling by itself! Under here you see first day 4 and day 5. (Gross photo - warning!)

Ewwww! Nasty!

The product DOES say that on the fourth day you feet will peel - and on the seventh day they'll stop!

It's slightly scary, yet really fun to try this out. And as promised, when I reached day 7 the peeling stopped all by itself.

It's suggested that you don't peel off your own skin from day 4 - 7.

Effectivity:

✦ ✦ ✦ ✧

It's kind off hard to say what I expected from this product. The peeling went fine, it was absolutely painfree, and my feet became smooth!

Price:

✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦

Extremely cheap. Only a few dollars, so I'm glad I bought two!

Design/Packeging:

✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦

Holika Holika managed to make a mask designed for your feet to peel look super cute and girly. The blue-rosy design is so adorable along with the cute little baby-foot!

Cons:

The smell from the liquid is very similar to the smell of acetone/nailpolish-remover, and that grosses me out. It smells like it's filled with chemicals, yuck! And the peeling on your feet can get messy in your house if you don't wear socks.

Overall:
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦

I'll repurchase when the other one is gone!

SPRING LIPS - Lipsticks & Glosses

Hi guys!

A few things are still getting fixed on my blog, but this is how it is for now. If you like it, feel free to tell me in the comments, it will be greatly appreciated!

Still having a few troubles with the "Comments RSS" and "Entries RSS" sections, so just ignore those for now.

You can click the pictures to enlarge.

It's turning into spring now, the weather is getting warmer and really sunny, but the flowers haven't come out just yet.
I am and have for long been a super lipgloss- and lipstick fan. Do you guys have favorite colours this spring? I like to save the darker colours for winter and wear some light, naturel lips during spring, and then more neon-colours (especially orange!) in summer.

First here's my nature coloured lips ony wearing Maybelline Baby Lips

First lipsticks are from Dior, both very cute pink colours! It's Dior lipstick #503 and #517

Next one is a gift from a friend, a Chanel-lipgloss. It has almost no colour, but a lot of shine and glitter, and it's super sweet and naturel!

Etude House Milky Lipgloss is the cutest gloss ever, and for a gloss rather pigmented too. It gives you ultimative dolly-looking lips! So, so adorable! And also good for people with small lips like mine.

Heading towards the end, here's Etude Houses' liptints in the orange and red colour. (They have such strange name, I can never remember them, but they are easy to recognize.) The orange one is naturel and subtle, and red for a pop of colour. Both are so nice and effective as tints!

The last one is the super pigmented liptint from TonyMoly. Really good for a tint, I'm always amazed!

Hope you like it, tell me which one is your favorite!

Here's all together:

My favorite is probably the Etude House Milky Gloss. I love the cute, glossy-effect, but it lasts quite short sadly.

Alright, that's all for this post, I will be back soon!

TonyMoly Crystal Blusher Review

Hello everyone.

Long time no see! This is my second last review from my korean haul from 2013. Almost done with it. It took ages! The next review is the Etude House Tearliner, and this review is the TonyMoly Crystal Blusher.

Click photos to enlarge!

Here's some pictures with and without flash.

The pictures I had of the blush from when it was new is sadly gone, due to having my old harddisc killed. So these are from when it's already used. It was of course new and untouched when it arrived!

The colour is really hard to swatch, and I therefore can't show you the colour on the skin. I apologize for this.

Effectivity & Colour:

✦ ✦ ✦ ✧
The colour is beautiful carrot-orange, in a way that it fits my skin, and I like it. It has some shimmer/glitter in it too, so it's not matte if that's what you'd go for. However it's not visible on pictures, only in real. It stays on all day, however not waterproof/resistant. The colour is super nice and does match the pictures though!

Price:

✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦

Very cheap for what I consider a huge amount of product. The blush is very big, but costs close to nothing. Yay!

Texture:

✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✧

Touching it with my fingers it has a smooth and soft texture, it feels just like a highclass product actually. It's a supernice texture for brushing too, and it feels light on the skin.

Design/Packeging:

✦ ✦  ✧ ✧

The design is not as cute, but it's very simple and pretty.

Cons:

Can't really think of any! I would repurchase this another time.

That's my ultra-short review for now, hope you enjoy.

Ending with an old picture from 2011, because I don't have anything else right now. Have a nice day!
