German Trip - Back in Denmark

Hi everyone!

I am back home in Denmark, yey ~~

As you all know, or should know, I visited my boyfriend for this week in South Germany!

I had the best holiday so far in my short life, I needed the holiday and my hubby so bad. I have a few pictures, but out of all the things I got to see I really don't have many. I wish I had taken more, but I was so shy to!
I will shortly (as short as possible at least) go through my week in South Germany. Enjoy!

Sunday:

I arrived sunday evening at about 10, so I was far too tired for anything but a bed. I took the train from my city at 14, one hour later I was in Flensborg, 2 hours in a car (Thank you, Lisa!) I arrived at Hamburg airport. A late flight and another 1 hour long car-ride later I finally was in a house again!

Monday:

(^ So tempting not to buy one of the cute small palettes by Dior!)
We visited a friend of his, and then went to two different but huge malls! I love malls, but I never am in big ones, because we don't have any. But these buildings were gigantic, I swear!
We also had some super delicious chinese food. I got duck with sweet-and-sour sauce because it's so yummy. My boyfriend got fried noodles with chicken meat which is also super yum. *_*

Tuesday:

Rest-day. The weather was too bad for anything really.
But it was a cuddling-day and I surely didn't mind!~~~

Wednesday:

We went to München with his parents. We went shopping and an older lady came up to me and asked where I got my tights! So funny since I was wearing my Hello Kitty tights ~ I also got quite many stares. München is so strange, but lovely. Has such big malls, even bigger malls! (I'm a shop-fanatic. Oh, all the shops! *_*) And we had chinese again as well. This time I got one of those cute little boxes with fried noodle and chicken inside!

Thursday:

We went to Amberg city. That city is so, so, SO beautiful and comfy and gave me all the right impressions. Oh, the beauty. *_* I also had my very first döner kebab. It may look gross (the picture) but woaaa this is so super delicious! If you didn't try it, then go to your nearest shop and eat some! It's really good!

In the evening my boyfriend and I went to go to volleyball. I don't play volleyball, but still kinda attented. As much as I could at least with my non-excisting ball-skills hahah ~ But I didn't join in playing with the adults (I would get smashed down or knocked out. Or both.) so I was bored for some hours. TT__TT But my hubby is so handsome playing volleyball!

(Hubby is in the back, with the white shirt) Sorry for the bad picture, but they don't really stand still and pose! (╯▽╰)

Friday:

More shopping. I bought some things from Tallyweil which is a super awesome store, and my new favorite! The problem? Doesn't excist in Denmark (*▔^▔*) But I bought a "WHATEVER"-hat, a black top that says "Math Sucks" (because I, out of everyone, can agree to that statement!) and a oversize-sweater in white saying 'Bonjour'. The items are to die for!
Friday was my last day, so we walked around his town and the weather was perfect.

(^ Shameless vain selfies in the car while waiting for him)

We had such delicious ice cream and it was even cheap. I had Kinder Bueno-ice, hasselnut/chocolate and cookie-icecream! (I'm a sucker for chocolate and sweet stuff!)

Had some fun on the playground. And I am wearing shorts, it's NOT my panties you see. ._.

Yet again - Am wearing shorts. I'm not flashing my panties to the internet (or his neighboors), I'm just too curios not to do stupid things in my PJ's ~

Huge rich houses in Kümmersbruck. All the houses around there are huge, at least two floors, and so pretty... Luxury-place ~ My boyfriends' house too!

I also bought a new jacket since my old one, is well.. old and very broken and not warm enough. I love my new one so much!

♥♥♥

Beautiful views in Amberg during the evening ~

Aaaand finished off the greatest week of my life with a nice restaurant-visit where I got delicious pasta!

Saturday:

Do you know what you look like when you slept bad, cried yourself to sleep (note: I always cry the day before I leave my hubby) and have to wake up at 5? Not very good, I tell you..!
At 6 we left the house, and he drove me to the airport in Nürnberg. And then the cycle went on backwards.

Car Kümmersbruck → Nürnberg (1 hour)
Plane Nürnberg → Hamburg (1 hour, 20 minutes)
Car Hamburg → Flensburg (almost 3 hours)
Train Flensburg → Vojens (Denmark) (1 hour)
Car Vojens → Home (10minuttes)

I have some extra pictures from my trip on Instagram too! My name is "eyelashforeyelash" or see them here

Here's some pictures of me and us just for the heck of it!

That's all for my trip! I have some upcoming reviews and other stuff for you as soon as possible. Untill then, have a nice time!

Hara Hachi Bu - A weightloss post!

Hi there!

Did you ever want to lose weight? I know I do, many times in my life! I am not obese, but I am a little chubby, and I am very unhealthy too! I eat a lot for my weight actually ~
But I wanna change my flabby belly and lose some kg's! I tried lots of things and none worked. These included:
- Starving and over-exerzising (no, not an eating disorder. It didn't last long)
- Just starving and doing nothing
- Exercising but eating like a cow
- Different strange diets. Banana-diet, and whatnot. All kind of strange diets that worked, but never were temporary.

I do not have very much disipline, so I need a diet that's easy to follow, hard to break, and with hardly any "rules". I also want a diet where I do not need to starve myself. Never starve yourself. Your body tells you it needs fuel, so feed it!

Either way, let's get to this point. I found this japanese very famous diet that seems stable and good to follow. It doesn't involve crazy starving or overly much exerzising, just one good basic rule to keep in mind. Perfect!

(Google picture. All credit to owner.)

Perhaps you've heard about the 80% weightloss diet? It's also called the Okinawa diet, but the original name is "Hara hachi bu" or "Hara hachi bunme".

Hara hachi bu is a simple diet or rather lifestyle change that you can start from today on. And the main rule is super simple:
Eat only untill you're 80% full.

But why, you ask? What will that benefit me?
Because:

image

"The Okinawan cultural habit of calorie control called hara hachi bu, which means eat only until you are 80% full, plays a role as well as their habit of eating an antioxidant rich plant-based diet. Stopping at 80% capacity is actually a very good strategy to avoid obesity without going hungry because the stomach's stretch receptors take about 20 minutes to tell the body that how full it really is and 20 minutes after stopping you will really feel full."

(Taken from this website that provides lots of information about the diet!)

Other than that, just eat healthy. More vegetables, less meat. More fruits, less candy. Get Omega3 and and whole grains. You must also be active, don't sit on your butt all the time! Exercise in form of walking, running, swimming, ball-plays, dancing or whatever sport you may enjoy! (Picture: All credit to owner)

I used to be overweight A LOT during childhood. I was a fat child, yes. My heaviest ever weight was something in between 72 and 75kg (150lbs and 165lbs) and I was about 160cm tall.(5'2/5'3) That time my BMI was almost 30! So fat ah ~ I was lazy all the time.image

Now I am "only" 57kg (125lbs) and I have grown to be 172cm tall (something about 5'7). That makes my BMI almost 20 (exact 19.27). I do not weight very much for my heigh, but due to overweight before I have very unflattering flabby-fat. Especially my thighs, butt and belly is awful image

To reach my current weight I just ate healthy and forced to ride my bike 8km every single day for a year. (YES! Every single! Snow, thunder, rain, wind!) because my father got diabetes and forced the whole family to make a dramatic lifestyle change, since we were all heavily overweight. I had a drastic weightloss, and luckily my only stretchmarks are in my inner thighs! Also I grew taller which helped a lot as well. I didn't change anything (well, I don't ride my bike anymore), but my current lifestyle just doesn't make me lose more, it just makes my weight stable at where it is. But I don't wanna stay chubby! So, I am gonna give this diet a try. Are you?

From today on, I will try my best to follow that. Afterall, I wanna look nice when I see my hubby in less than a month! Are you getting fit? Do you have any diet tips to share or some succesfull weightloss progress? Tell me in the comments!

Also, dear girls (and guys) just remember that everything is fine as long as it's in moderation! Eating a few candies once in a while, or having a delicious meal out with your friends is fine, as long as it's not everyday. You can still enjoy you favorite snack, just make sure you don't enjoy 6 out of 7 days a week! So don't punish yourself for being off every now and then. ♥

About me; First post!

Hello and welcome to my first post on my new blog! First of, this is me:

Who am I? As the descreption so nicely says:
Inspired by chinese underground/streetstyles, vintage and everything pastel and floral! I'm still all new into fashion, and wasn't interested at all up untill now.
I'm also a beauty-obsessed girl!
This blog will have lots of clothes and random things, makeup, skincare and beauty and fitness/lifestyle stuff!

Other than that, I am overly girly and feminine. I love pastel colours, different cultures, I love romatic stuff, cute things of all kinds (thought Rilakkumma and Hello Kitty are on the top10!) and much much more.

I got my own camera in the summerholidays, but didn't get to use it for anything but holidays and events, and that's too little for me! I want to share all the things that I love with other people!

I'm currently (well duh!) 18 years old, and in my last year of college, studying sales and economics. Thought it may not be my own or the best choice for me, I have some friends there that makes it worth staying!
I have yet to move out, but I hope to get my own place, by this time, next year. Other than that I am in a long distance relationship with my lovely boyfriend from Germany. And when he's too busy for me, I have two adorable dwarf hamsters, Xiao and Müsli!

(Boyfi and me!♥)

My blogname "Eyelash for eyelash" comes from the saying: An eye for an eye. But since I'm obsessed with beautiful long lashes, it's eyelashes instead!

That's all for this first post, just a  quick introduction before I actually start blogging. I'm planning on doing some reviews on different beauty products, making some OOTD, writing about fitness and health, and whatever pops to my mind! Stay happy ~~~ ♥
